We are going to talk about saving energy at home. We are going to talk about how our homes look like, different methods for saving energy, an interview with our parents about saving energy and about the measurement of the amount of energy use. We researched our homes and interviewed our parents for the information.
Pieter his house.
My house is a corner house. On the roof are solar panels. My house exist out of 3 layers and there is no basement. We have 8 rooms. 1 kitchen. 3 bedrooms, 1 bad room, 1 toilet and 2 rooms in the attic.
We use solar panels and led lights to save energy. We also have a smart heating. The heating turns on if we are home and turns off if there is no one home.
3 methods for saving energy.
The first method is using led lights. Those lights use less energy then other lights.
The second method is to use solar panels. You will generate your own energy and have less energy costs and solar energy is green energy.
The third method is to turn off a device if you don’t use it. If you turn them off if you don’t use them you use less energy.
We have measured the energy use in Pieter his house and gijs his house. In Pieter his house they used 20 kWh and we delivered 0,64 kWh back.
We also interviewed some of our parents. This are the answers that gave Pieter’s parents to him.
